smartAR helps companies get paid faster. Its collectors use email, text and SMS messaging to call debtors when bills aren’t paid on time. 3Bit built a cloud-based system for smartAR to automate collection processes.

The system connects to Xero and six other accounting services. It then uses rules based on each client’s terms of trade telling collectors who to call and when to get in touch. The software can then set follow-up actions based on the outcome of a call.

Clients get system generated weekly and monthly reports. They can see an overview along with graphs and key accounts receivable indicators. The system also audits who logs in and tracks all messages sent to debtors.


MSP Assist

MSP Assist helps managed service providers to automate key support processes. 3Bit developed middleware to sync ticketing data between Kaseya RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and popular professional services automation systems from Autotask, Connectwise and Tigerpaw.

The software can work with customer’s cloud systems or it can be installed on premise. It handles connection issues and concurrency.

It’s a thin client that sits on a client server, the heavy lifting is done remotely. The system handles around 75k requests a day and over a million data rows are stored at any moment.

Abbots is a large plumbing and drainage company. 3Bit built a system to help the company to manage a large volume of incoming job requests.

Jobs arrive via email. The system processes the emails, applies business rules and then enters the jobs directly into simPro, a cloud-based field service automation service. It also alerts any staff who need to know about the incoming job. The system means Abbotts employees don’t have to manually enter data on these jobs as they arrive.

There is no need for employees to deal with manual data entry. The 3Bit software also imports files from suppliers to help with end of month accounts and generates reports to help planning.

New Zealand’s largest dance school has been a 3Bit customer for a decade. Much of our work has turned time consuming manual processes into automated tasks.

We built a bespoke system to manage every aspect of the business. There’s a portal for parents. There, they can update information, enrol children in classes and pay for classes.

The system handles billing and customer communications. It can send emails or SMS to parents and students. It generates PDFs showing class timetables.

We also developed a mobile app for teachers. This lets them take class attendance, keep notes and provides secure communications with the office.
